Feldman's Approach (When we didn't know the name of the artwork)
We decided that among our list of words (USA, car crash, pollution, skyscrapers, urban life, metal), urban life suits the best.
Relate: looks like shapes of flamingoes, birds, broken glass, fish, a messy clump of mixture and shards.
Describe: angular, irregular, jagged, rigid forms/shapes, dirty and unfiltered colours, shades of gray, use of black and white, forms are distorted, doesn't resemble anything.
Analyze: arbitrary colours, forms and shapes arranged haphazardly, looks messy, black and white provides contrast, probably used chinese ink or watercolour. Style is similar to cubism, colours employed are similar to fauvism.
Interpret: mood is dull, sharp edges cause discomfort, as if something is protruding into the whole artwork. unpleasant feeling.
Evaluate: I dislike the whole artwork due to its ruggedness as a whole, it's like what you see when you fall on the beach face-down onto a sandy ground of rocks and pebbles.
